Sheriff Jones began his Law Enforcement career with the St. John Sheriff’s Office in 1976 as a Road Deputy and later as a Patrol Sergeant. On January 1, 1985 he became the Chief District Attorney Investigator. In the Election of 1995, he was elected Sheriff and served four terms as Sheriff.
He and his wife, Jo Ann Martin Jones, reside in LaPlace, La. and have three girls, Stacy, Kelly, and Jamie, and four grandchildren.
