St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office participated in an exercise drill hosted by the St James Parish Office of Emergency Preparedness and in coordination with the Department of Health and Hospitals involved participation from multiple entities including; local and state government, local law enforcement, first responders, volunteers and other parties. This four hour exercise was to practice the Parish’s forty eight (48) hour mass antibiotic dispensing plan.
