Sheriff Mike Tregre recently hosted a luncheon for high school and college students who participated in the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office summer work program, which offers teens and young adults the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience about law enforcement. The students have been working closely with various department commanders, and they have been doing a great job. Sheriff Tregre and few of his officers hosted the group at El Paso in LaPlace and wished them the best in their future endeavors.
