On Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at 8:21 pm, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff‘s Office deputies responded to 1608 West Airline Highway, McDonalds, in LaPlace for the report of a disturbance. The 16-year-old female victim told deputies that she was working the drive through window when a car pulled to the window. A female subject exited the car, opened the window, pulled her through the window, and started punching her. She said that several other female subjects accompanied the assailant and punched her as well. The perpetrators fled in the car. EMS evaluated the victim, and she refused medical treatment.
Juvenile detectives are in charge of this investigation. With witness accounts and after evaluation of recorded video surveillance, detectives anticipate making arrests in this investigation.
