On Monday, May 12, 2014, at 2:21 pm, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a residence in the 300 block of Linwood Drive in LaPlace for a call for service. While investigating the incident, deputies saw marijuana plants in the residence. Investigators notified narcotics detectives who obtained a search warrant for the residence. Upon a search of the residence, narcotics detectives recovered three marijuana plants, 1.3 grams of marijuana, 16 Alprazolam pills, and drug paraphernalia.
