Sheriff Mike Tregre congratulates five St. John Parish Officers who recently graduated from the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office Regional P.O.S.T. Academy Session 2014-1 on March 10, 2014. The academy was held at the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Training Academy.

Deputy Tenika Tassin also received the Scholastic Award during the academy.
The 17 week training course featured instructions in firearems, physical fitness, Louisiana Criminal and Traffic laws, Report writing, Interview and Interrogation techniques, and General Investigations.
