On Thursday, December 12, 2013, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested Andrika Duhe, 26, of Stout Lane in Garyville on a judicial court ordered arrest warrant. Duhe was charged with purse snatching and simple battery.
On November 27, deputies responded to the 2900 block of Highway LA 44 in Garyville, the Fast Stop, for the report of a theft. The complainant, a 29-year-old female from LaPlace, told deputies that Andrika Duhe encountered her in a physical altercation, took her purse, and fled the scene in a vehicle.
The victim reported to deputies that her purse contained identification and bankcards, a cell phone and charger, and cash. She sustained abrasions and scratches during the altercation but refused medical attention.
Detectives sought, obtained, and executed a judicial court ordered arrest warrant for Andrika Duhe. Her bond was $1750; she was bonded out on Friday with a $205 cash bond. Duhe was arrested twenty-eight times in St. John the Baptist Parish since January 2005. Three of six bookings included felony charges, and twenty-two arrests were by misdemeanor summons for attachments or contempt of court.
