After receiving information, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Narcotics Detectives initiated two investigations that culminated with the execution of two search warrants and four arrests.

On Friday, April 26th, narcotics detectives executed a search warrant at 229 East 26th Street in Reserve. Detectives recovered a bottle of Promethezine with Codeine with the label removed, a handgun, two magazines for an assault rifle, drug paraphernalia, and cash.


Dwayne K. Nicholson, 42, 229 East 26
th Street, Reserve, LA, was arrested and booked with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm with an obliterated number, possession of schedule II CDS, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He bonded out on a commercial bond; his bond was $36,500.00.

 


Kemone J. Clofer, 21, 1612 Yorktowne Drive, LaPlace, LA, was arrested and booked with possession of a firearm with an obliterated number, possession of schedule II CDS, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He bonded out on a commercial bond; his bond was $21,500.00.

 



Kewain Tripps, 21, 3012 Williamsburg, Drive, LaPlace, LA, was arrested and booked with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm with an obliterated number, possession of schedule II CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and parole violation. He remains in custody; his bond is $36,500.00.

In another narcotics investigation, narcotics detectives executed a search warrant on Friday, April 26th, at 1029 Gemini Street in Reserve. Detectives recovered approximately $1200 worth of marijuana, pharmaceutical drugs, and drug paraphernalia.

Cyrus P. Nicholson, 30, 1029 Gemini Street, Reserve, LA, was arrested and booked with sale / distribution / possession of legend drugs without a prescription, distribution / manufacture schedule I CDS, distribution / manufacture schedule II CDS, distribution / manufacture schedule III CDS, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He remains in custody; his bond is $61,500.00.
