Sheriff Wayne L. Jones congratulates two St. John Parish Officers who recently graduated from the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office Regional Post Academy on Jan 31st, 2008. The academy was held on the Thibodaux High School Campus.
Pictured left to right – Dpy Daphne Rushing, who also received the Commitment to Excellence Award, has been with the Sheriff’s Office since Sept 2006, Sheriff Wayne L. Jones, and Dpy. J P Repath, who has been with the Sheriff’s Office since Oct. 2007. Both officers are presently assigned to the Corrections Division.
The 10 week training course featured instructions in firearems, physical fitness, Louisiana Criminal and Traffic laws, Report writing, Interview and Interrogation techniques, and General Investigations.
