St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriffs Office deputies arrested Jon McCoy, 37, of New Orleans for contractor fraud. An investigation revealed to investigators that McCoy entered into a contract in October of 2012 with the victim to repair a Yorktowne Drive residence in LaPlace that was damaged during flooding caused by hurricane Isaac. McCoy failed to complete repairs to the house, accepted payment for materials that were never paid for or picked up, and misrepresented himself as a Louisiana State Board Licensed Contractor.

Deputies arrested Jon McCoy and booked him with contracting without a license, misapplication of payments, and home improvement fraud. Bond has not been set.
