On Saturday, January 11, 2014, at 1:49 am, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 300 block of Melius Drive in Reserve for the report of two men with guns that forced their way into a residence. Deputies spoke to the homeowner who told deputies that when he answered a knock at the door, two men with guns forced their way into

his house and ordered everyone there to hand over their money. The perpetrators fled from the residence in an unknown direction with cash taken from the houseguests. The homeowner had about 18 guests at the residence when the incident occurred. No one was injured.

Both of the perpetrators were dressed in all black clothing. One perpetrator was described as being approximately 5′ 8″ tall with a stocky build. The other perpetrator was described as being approximately 6′ tall with a thin build, and his hair was in long dreadlocks that went halfway down his back.
